A 4-hour event for 100 guests with food needs 3 standard porta potties. A party with no food or drinks needs 1 unit per 50 guests. Add more when alcohol is served or the event runs past 4 hours. A jobsite with 20 or fewer workers needs at least 1 toilet under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51.
Our planning rule: 1 standard unit per 50 guests for up to 4 hours with no food or drinks, 1 per 35 with food, 1 per 30 with alcohol. Add 1 unit per 100 guests for every 2 hours past 4. Accessible units follow the 2010 ADA Standards, section 213.2 (at least 5% per cluster).

Call by 12:00 noon, Monday to Saturday, and the porta potty arrives the same day anywhere in Omaha, Council Bluffs and the nearby suburbs. Calls after noon get delivery the next morning. A $75 same-day fee applies to same-day orders. How same-day delivery works.
You do not need to be home for delivery. Mark the spot with a cone, chalk or a photo, and leave any gate unlocked or text us the code. The driver can call about 30 minutes before arriving if you want to meet the truck.
The porta potty needs a flat, firm spot the truck can reach within about 25 feet. Driveways, side yards and gravel pads work best. Tell us about gates, low-hanging wires, parked cars and soft ground. A unit on grass is fine when the ground is dry.
A 4-hour party for 100 guests with food needs 3 standard porta potties, using our rule of 1 unit per 35 guests when food is served. Without food or drinks, 2 units cover 100 guests. Add 1 unit if alcohol is served. Use the porta potty calculator for other sizes.
A standard porta potty has hand sanitizer, not a sink. For a sink, choose a standard unit with a sink inside, a flushing unit with a sink, or add a separate hand-washing station beside the toilets.
You can keep a porta potty as long as you need it. Long rentals bill every 28 days, not every calendar month, and include weekly cleaning. Call when you are done and billing stops on the pickup date.
Weekend event units drop off on Friday and get picked up on Monday, at no extra cost. Our trucks run Monday to Saturday. Saturday same-day delivery is possible when you call by noon.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the delivery date for a full refund. Rescheduling is free with 24 hours' notice. You can add a sink, a hand-washing station or more units up to the day before delivery. Read the rental terms.
A serviced porta potty does not overflow. The waste tank holds about 60 gallons and gets a deodorizer that controls odor. Rentals longer than a week are pumped and cleaned weekly. Large crews or long events can add extra service visits.
Units come with an inside door latch. For jobsites or public spots, ask for a hasp so you can add your own padlock. Tell the driver the combination or leave a key so the service crew can get in each week.
A porta potty on your own property in Omaha does not need a permit. A unit placed on a street, sidewalk or alley is a right-of-way use and needs approval from Omaha Public Works. Events in city parks follow the park permit rules.
